Welcome to Eglinton

We have announced the programme of contributors for the 14th. annual Holyrood Summer School. We are confident that the participants will take great value from the engagement they will have with our high calibre group of contributors. It is a tribute to the reputation of the event that each of the contributors are returning having attended the School at least once before. We are particularly pleased to welcome back John Swinney, Cabinet Secretary for Finance, Employment & Sustainable Growth. The other confirmed contributors are;

- Sue Bruce, Chief Executive, City of Edinburgh Council

- Stephen Boyle, Head of Group Economics, Royal Bank of Scotland

- Robert Calderwood, Chief Executive, NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde

- David Fenton, Head of Micro Economics, Royal Bank of Scotland

- Professor Jim McDonald, Principal & Vice-Chancellor, University of Strathclyde

- Gordon Meldrum, Director General & Deputy Chief Constable, Scottish Crime & Drug Enforcement Agency

- Alf Young, Writer & Broadcaster

The School has for 13 years maintained its success with great reviews from the senior managers and leaders who participate in the highly acclaimed leadership development event. The programme provides unique access to an impressive range of high calibre contributors.

Eglinton would like to thank all of our clients and friends for giving us the opportunity to support them in doing really interesting work for the last 18 years. We have been particularly heartened by client loyalty and recommendations of support as we have successfully ventured into new markets and developed new approaches.

We have been delighted by our recent successful bid to continue to be a preferred supplier of training and development services to the Scottish Government. We will also continue to provide learning and development support to Scottish Water, FE Colleges, Housing Associations and private companies.

Eglinton has continued to concentrate on our core strengths. This has seen us design and deliver new leadership and management development programmes, coaching and organisational review consultancy services. We have also enjoyed growth of our selection and assessment consultancy services.

Our highly regarded Influencing programme, Pi2, is available either as an in house client programme or as a public course.

We are committed to supporting our clients and their people to develop in these challenging times. We welcome the opportunity to work with clients to create a positive difference. Please let us know if you would like to discuss how we could help.
