Leading through Learning

At Eglinton, we thrive on challenge and diversity of experiences and we are currently working on a number of exciting and challenging projects across a range of sectors:

Flourishing in the Garden

We are running a leadership development programme for senior managers of the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh. This group includes: botanists, horticulturalists, operations managers and specialist professionals. The programme encompasses leadership & management, strategy into performance, influencing and employee engagement. Feedback to date has been extremely positive from the group and we are eagerly looking forward to the next cohort.

Leadership in Housing

We were requested by a long standing client, East Renfrewshire Council, to develop and deliver a broad ranging leadership programme for a group of senior managers in the Housing Services Team. The highly regarded Council is keen to build on existing success and support teams in taking their performance to the next level through relevant and insightful learning. This programme includes: change management, strategic leadership, time & priority management, coaching and customer service. Results so far are encouraging with the team very positive about making changes to their practices.

Transformation in Public Service

Another long standing client, ACCESS (a joint venture between Serco & Glasgow City Council) are undertaking a number of major transformations in how they design and deliver services, to improve service quality and reduce costs. This has involved making some major investments in IT and facilities and we have been working with the team to facilitate some senior team events around the change as well as coaching team members through the process.

Influence Abroad

We recently delivered our highly regarded influence & impact programme, Pi2, in 2 overseas locations for our client Wood Mackenzie. The first event was in Singapore and the second in Houston. The challenge of delivering such a complex programme in an entirely different business culture was really exciting and we learnt a great deal as well as being able to add significant value to our clients’ repertoire of influencing tactics and behaviours. Both events were evaluated extremely positively and as a result, we are heading next to New York to deliver the programme there!
